First astrophysical observations starting next week...
Monday 13 December 2004

AMBER will be on-line next week for the first astrophysical observations. On 23-24 December 2004, ESO will run the first VLTI Science Demonstration with AMBER with 3 telescopes (UT2,3,4). The two following nights (25-26 december 2004) will be dedicated to Guaranteed Time Observations from the AMBER consortium on the same triplet of telescopes.

All main problems found during commissioning time should be fixed, therefore allowing the best use of the VLTI with AMBER.
